HTC Droid Eris or Desire – A Rebranded HTC Hero from Android

The Android Eris or Desire is a relatively new phone in the market and was launched on November 6, 2009. It is among the first phones in the market to use the platform of Android Mobile. It is available in Austria, Netherlands, European countries, and Czech Republic. The phone is much slimmer and it has a touch screen keyboard. With a purchase price of 99 dollars, the Android Eris is considered to be amongst the cheapest phones of the company.

It is a rebranded version of HTC Hero and comes in a unique design that makes it more appealing and user easy to carry. It has smooth round corners with a soft finish and is available in a black finishing. This gives it a classier look that is accented by the chrome edges.

When you hold the phone in your hand, you feel as if you are holding something solid. This is because the phone is strong and it does not get damaged when it accidentally falls.
